Spirituals
Go to the library of Congress and listen to their recordings of spirituals. Keep a list of the titles and year that they were sung and research what if any alternate meanings some of them may have. Describe what you learn on your website and create links back to your sources and even embed the audio where you can.

As you write about the circumstances that led to Nat Turners rebellion and the consequences of those actions you may want to read the official confession that he gave the court at his trial.
